Above: PCH Bookshop

The PCH Bookshop has been described as an "unknown gem" of Pretoria. It was started in 2006 in aid of the Princess Christian Home and is run entirely by volunteers, while books are generously donated by the community on a weekly basis.

The PCH Bookshop stocks a wide variety of good quality second-hand books at low prices which range from non-fiction to popular fiction and collectable books.

All funds that are raised by the PCH Bookshop are allocated to the Princess Christian Home's special projects.

The Princess Christian Home provides 24 hour care to the elderly, those who are frail and those who suffer from Alzheimer's disease and other degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease.

The PCH Bookshop holds a monthly sale in its storeroom on the last Saturday of every month.
